Terms of Use

Part A – Unleashed Services. Version 1.0, effective 14 October 2026.

1. Your agreement

1.1.
These Terms of Use apply when you access or use our Unleashed Services. By using our Unleashed Services, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1.2.
These Terms of Use include limits on our liability and explain when we may suspend or end your access. Please read them.
1.3.
Unleashed Services means our website at unleashedpets.com.au and its subdomains, the Unleashed app, your online account and any other digital services we provide.

2.1.
We, us and our means Unleashed Pets Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 14 695 274 723 trading as Unleashed. We are an Authorised Representative AR No. 001323662 of Assetinsure Pty Ltd ABN 65 066 463 803 AFSL 243904. You can contact us via email at help@unleashedpets.com.au or phone 1300 247 949.
2.2.
When our insurance products launch, the insurer of the products available through our Unleashed Services will be Assetinsure Pty Ltd ABN 65 066 463 803 AFSL 243904.

3.1.
These Terms of Use are made up of this Part A and each Schedule we publish as being in force.
3.2.
Part A applies to all use of our Unleashed Services. Each Schedule applies only to the service it names, in addition to Part A.
3.3.
If a Schedule is inconsistent with Part A, the Schedule prevails for that service only.
3.4.
We may publish, amend or withdraw a Schedule without affecting Part A or any other Schedule.
3.5.
If you use a service a Schedule covers, you agree to that Schedule.

4.1.
We may change these Terms of Use, including by publishing, amending or withdrawing a Schedule.
4.2.
We will notify you of updates to these Terms of Use in a way that we consider to be reasonably appropriate, which may be by publishing the updated version on our website. If you hold a product with us, we will notify you of any material changes to the Terms of Use by email.
4.3.
Your continued use on or after that date is your acceptance. If you do not accept a change, you can stop using our Unleashed Services.

5.1.
Information available through our Unleashed Services is factual information or general advice only. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before using any such general advice, including to decide whether to purchase a product, you should obtain and consider the relevant Product Disclosure Statement.
5.2.
We take reasonable care with the information available through our Unleashed Services. It may not be accurate, complete or up to date in all respects, and we do not warrant that it is.
5.3.
Our Unleashed Services are available for Australian residents only.
5.4.
Unleashed pet insurance has not yet launched and is not available for purchase. Nothing on our Unleashed Services is an offer of insurance. Product details, including the insurer, cover and pricing, will be confirmed at launch.

6.1.
All intellectual property in our Unleashed Services and its content, including the Unleashed name, logos and trade marks, is owned by us or our licensors.
6.2.
You may view our Unleashed Services and download or print a single copy of its content for your own personal, non-commercial reference, keeping all notices intact.
6.3.
Otherwise you must not reproduce, store, modify, publish, transmit or display in public any part of our Unleashed Services, or use our names, logos or trade marks, without our prior written consent.

7.1.
You may use our Unleashed Services only as a genuine current or prospective customer, for temporary browsing for personal non-commercial interest, or as we have authorised in writing.
7.2.
Any other use of our Unleashed Services is prohibited.

8.1.
You must not:
- (a) use our Unleashed Services for an unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised purpose;
- (b) interfere with its operation, security or other users;
- (c) use automated tools to scrape, extract or systematically collect information or quotes;
- (d) gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to, copy or reverse engineer our systems, software, pricing or business logic;
- (e) use information from our Unleashed Services to train AI models, build comparison or benchmarking tools or reproduce our pricing systems without our permission; or
- (f) give us false or misleading information or impersonate another person.
8.2.
These prohibitions apply whatever the purpose, including machine learning, artificial intelligence model training, data aggregation, price comparison, benchmarking and analytics.
8.3.
Nothing in 8.1 restricts anything you have a non-excludable legal right to do.

9.1.
We may monitor use of our Unleashed Services and remove material, but we are not obliged to.
9.2.
We may cooperate with any law enforcement authority and any lawful request or direction.
9.3.
Our Unleashed Services may link to third party websites. A link is not an endorsement, we are not responsible for them, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

10.1.
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Collection Statement. Unleashed Services uses cookies and similar technologies. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

11.1.
We do not guarantee that our Unleashed Services will be available, uninterrupted or error free. We may suspend it at any time, including for maintenance.

12.1.
The Australian Consumer Law and other laws, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the ASIC Act 2001 (Cth), give you rights and remedies that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified (Non-Excludable Rights). Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes, restricts or modifies them.
12.2.
Where we breach a Non-Excludable Right in connection with services, our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law and at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
12.3.
Nothing in these Terms of Use affects our liability or the insurer's liability under any insurance policy.

13.1.
Subject to 12, we are not liable to you for any loss, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of or inability to use our Unleashed Services, any content on it or on a third party website, any interruption or fault, or any dealing between you and a third party.
13.2.
13.1 does not apply to the extent the loss is caused by our failure to take reasonable care.
13.3.
If you breach these Terms of Use or use our Unleashed Services unlawfully, you are responsible for the loss you cause us.

14.1.
We may suspend or end your access to our Unleashed Services immediately if you breach these Terms of Use or we reasonably suspect fraud, or for any other reason on reasonable notice. Where practicable we will tell you and tell you why.
14.2.
This does not affect any insurance policy you hold. Your policy continues on its own terms, and you can still make a claim and contact us by other means.

15.1.

16.1.
You must be at least 18 to apply for or buy a product through our Unleashed Services.
16.2.
These Terms of Use are governed by the law of New South Wales, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
16.3.
If any part of these Terms of Use is invalid it is read down or severed, and the rest continues in full force.
16.4.
If we do not exercise a right, that is not a waiver of it.
16.5.
We may assign our rights and obligations to a related body corporate or to a purchaser of our business. You may not assign yours.
16.6.
We may give you notice through our Unleashed Services, or by email or SMS to the details you have given us.
